Lion’s mane is known as the ‘Mountain Priest mushroom’ for its use by Shaolin monks in deepening their meditation.

Studies have found it stimulates production of nerve growth factor (NGF) which helps to maintain the neurons, which are the brain cells responsible for helping us to process and transmit information.
